Privacy Policy in compliance with General Data Protection Regulation

The protection of your personal data is of great importance to STYLEM TAKISADA-OSAKA CO., LTD. and all of its subsidiaries in the world (collectively, "STYLEM", "we" or "STYLEM Group companies"). We process the personal data of customers to whom those regulations apply (“Customer” or “you”) in accordance with the applicable EU and EU Member States’ regulations on data protection, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679) (the “GDPR”).

"Privacy Policy in compliance with General Data Protection Regulation" ("this Policy") provides information on our processing of your Personal Data. This Policy shall apply to you in preference to other privacy policy of us in any case as follows.

 

1) Where you have any kinds of business relationships with one of the STYLEM Group companies inside the EEA.

2) Where you are an EEA resident and a user of the website that any of the STYLEM Group companies offer inside/outside the EEA.

3) Where you are an EEA resident and you are a customer or a potential customer of any of the STYLEM Group companies inside/outside the EEA.

3. Collection of Information

We process the following categories of your personal data based on the legal bases provided for in the GDPR (Articles 6 and 7).  Further, we process your personal data of a sensitive nature, including your religious beliefs and health status, in accordance with special criteria provided for in the GDPR (Articles 9 and 10).

 

1) We collect the following Personal Data according to your relationships with us.

(1) Identification data such as name, company name, title;

(2) Contact information such as private and/or business postal address, email address, telephone numbers; and

(3) General information such as personal or professional interest, your experience of our services and products and your contact preferences.

 

2) In addition to the Personal Data described in 1), we collect the following Personal Data through your internet access to our websites.

(10) The right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Article 77 of the GDPR).

 

2) We generally will not make any decision based solely on automated decision-making within the meaning of GDPR. However, in some cases, we may profile your interests in our products and services by monitoring your Technical Information to tailor our communications with you.
